About Alexandre Santamaria

Alexandre started his career in London as Private Butler for his Excellency the French Ambassador.

Moving on to running very diverse operations such as The Royal Exchange by D&D London, The Hoxton Hotel and Eight Members’ Clubs, Alexandre developed a broad knowledge of the Food & Beverage industry.

In 2010 was appointed to run the restaurants of the two iconic 5-star properties the Phoenicia and le Vendome in Beirut, under the Intercontinental Group management.

Back to London, Alexandre joined Mr. Waney on his latest venture at the time, Coya. Initially as General Manager, he was promoted to Group Director of Operations Europe / Middle East / Asia and was invited to become shareholder.

Nowadays as Global Brand Director, Alexandre is responsible for the creation and development of Hakkasan’s latest concept Ling Ling.
